The Carteret Community Sunshine Band is the Crystal Coast's premier volunteer wind band. More than fifty band members ages 13 to 80 comprise the talented group of students, teachers, scientists, medical professionals, lawyers, business professionals, clergy, homemakers, and retired service members that perform for civic and community events throughout Carteret County. Under the direction of Ashley Wright, the group rehearses weekly at West Carteret High School. New members are welcome at any time.
